Ingredients
- Bacon — 130g, short-cut, diced
- Pasta — 160g spaghetti, uncooked
- Egg — 1 whole egg + 1 yolk
- Parmesan cheese — 40g, grated
- Pepper — 1/2 tsp, ground

Cook the diced bacon in a pan until crisp, then set aside.

Cook the spaghetti until al dente, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Whisk the whole egg, egg yolk, grated parmesan and black pepper together.

Add the drained pasta to the pan off the heat and let it cool slightly so the egg won't scramble.

Stir in the egg mixture and a little pasta water until creamy, fold through the bacon and serve.
