Ingredients

  • Beef mince — 150g, lean, raw (about 130g cooked)
  • Pickle — 30g, sliced
  • Mayonnaise — 30g, special burger sauce variety
  • Lettuce — 3 cups, iceberg, shredded
  • Low-fat cheese — 20g, grated
  • Salt — 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper — 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Season the beef mince with salt and pepper, then cook it in a non-stick pan over high heat for about 10 minutes.

    Pile the shredded lettuce into a large bowl — use as much as you like, it's barely any calories.

    Spoon the cooked beef mince on top of the lettuce.

    Slice the pickles and spread them over the salad, drizzle the burger sauce over the mince, then top with the grated cheese and serve.
